Plane
If staying in or near the Rockaways, it is advisable to fly into JFK or LaGuardia
If staying elsewhere in NYC, feel free to fly into JFK, LaGuardia, or Newark
Car
For those driving to the wedding, there will be complimentary valet service at the venue and scattered street parking nearby
Car services are an option for getting to and from the venue
When leaving the wedding, starting at 11pm, you can get $25 off an Uber ride using the code: rAWuvQ5vHYL
Please note that, when the (after) party ends, there may be a wait for Ubers given the large concentration of requests
Subway
The venue is a 5–10 minute walk from the Beach 105 St subway stop
You can take A train toward Far Rockaway or Rockaway Park (but not toward Lefferts Blvd)
If on the A to Far Rockaway, transfer at Broad Channel to the shuttle (S) and take it to Beach 105 St
If on the train to Rockaway Park, you don’t need to transfer
Ferry
The NYC Ferry stops a 5 minute walk from the venue
You can catch the ferry at Pier 11 in downtown Manhattan or at Brooklyn Army Terminal in Sunset Park
To get to the wedding on time, please take the ferry that departs Pier 11 at either 3:42 or 4:12pm
For a full, up-to-date schedule, visit this website
Please reach out to cassiegrimaldi@gmail.com and joebuccieroemail@gmail.com with any questions.
Our room block code should already be applied when you click the link above, but in case it isn’t: Click “Special Codes or Rates” (upper-right); click the “Promo Code” dropdown and click “Group Code”; enter code GB0725; and then click “Apply.” Please book your room by June 19.
NYC Hotels
If you’d prefer to stay in the city, we recommend staying somewhere accessible to the A train or the ferry, e.g., the west side of Manhattan, the Financial District, Downtown Brooklyn, or otherwise near JFK airport
If you’re making it a quick trip and flying into JFK, there are also many airport hotels, e.g., a Courtyard, a Hilton, and—most unique—the TWA Hotel
Rentals
There are some VRBO rental properties nearby, but not very many; you may need to act fast
Home
Many of you live in NYC, please feel free to come from home!
Please reach out to cassiegrimaldi@gmail.com and joebuccieroemail@gmail.com with any questions.

We’re so excited to celebrate with all of you. Making it out to Rockaway is as great a gift as any; please don't feel the need to get us anything else. But, if you insist, you can contribute to our honeymoon fund or select one of the items below.

Are our children invited?
While we love kids, we ask that this be a child-free event.
Can I bring a plus-one?
Unfortunately, our venue cannot accommodate people beyond those we’ve invited. When you RSVP on our website, everyone in your party should appear.
Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
The wedding ceremony and reception will be inside, with a cocktail hour scheduled to be on an outdoor patio. Nothing will take place on the beach itself, so no need to worry about sand. (The welcome party will take place on an outdoor patio, too, weather permitting.)
Do you have a hotel block?
Yes. Please check the “Stay” tab on our site.
What is the dress code?
For the wedding, cocktail attire: suit, dress, or something like that. For the welcome party, casual: whatever’s comfortable.
What else should I do if I’m staying in the Rockaways?
First and foremost: hang out at the beach, which you can do about one block south of the Rockaway Hotel or at any point along the boardwalk. If you’d like to explore further, Riis Beach and Fort Tilden are quieter and more rugged; from the hotel, you can reach them via bus, car, bike, or a (long) walk. An extra hike north gets you to other parts of the Gateway National Recreation Area, where you’ll find more beach and some interesting sights. On the opposite end of the Rockaways, there is a new nature center: the Arverne East Nature Preserve. You can also try surfing—check out the New York Surf School—but admittedly that’s something that scares Joe.

There are many good places to eat nearby, including Caracas and Rippers on the boardwalk; restaurants on nearby Rockaway Beach Boulevard, such as Uma’s, Kimo’s, and Sayra’s Wine Bar; and Adrienne’s, a nicer Italian restaurant on Broad Channel. Drinks are fun at Bungalow Bar, Rockaway Beach Surf Club (which also has good tacos), the Rockaway Hotel’s rooftop bar (where our afterparty will be), or Connolly’s (site of our welcome event on Friday).
Are there any fun Easter eggs on your website?
Yes, there’s one; click around, with your device’s volume up, to find it. With many thanks to our friend Henry van Dusen, who built this site (among many other, non-wedding-related pages!).
Any other questions?
